Our Bloemfontein branch honored Mandela Day through the Blessings Boxes initiative, inviting staff, hospital teams, and the community to donate non-perishable food items. The overwhelming support made this campaign a resounding success, demonstrating the spirit of generosity and unity.
All contributions were donated to Victory Outreach Bloemfontein’s Recovery Home Program, which supports individuals on a 12-month journey of renewal. This effort reflects our commitment to uplifting lives and inspiring hope.

Spreading Christmas Joy

Celebrating Women’s Day
On Women’s Day, the V&A Johannesburg team, led by CEO Victor Mendoza, visited Elim Haven in Kempton Park to celebrate and uplift homeless women. The shelter, home to 30 women, provided the perfect space to share love, encouragement, and support.
This sponsorship reflects our commitment to empowering individuals to reach their dreams. We are honored to support his inspiring journey of perseverance, passion, and achievement.

Supporting a Rising Canoe Polo Star
V&A Placement Agency is proud to sponsor a dedicated Canoe Polo athlete whose journey began with the First Benoni Sea Scouts and the East Rand Kayak Club. After six years of training and competing, his hard work earned him a place in South Africa’s Men’s U21 Canoe Polo Team at the 2022 World Championships in France.

Empowering Dreams
When team manager Mahali Lubabalo set out to showcase the Eastern Cape’s football talent, he faced countless challenges. While many overlooked his vision, V&A Placement Agency stepped in with unwavering support, providing home and away kits, boots, and professional training equipment.
Their backing also extended to the King of Glory Tournament in East London, where the team gained exposure to elite scouts. This support has inspired hope, proving that belief can turn dreams into reality.
15.
Nelson Mandela Day
On Nelson Mandela Day, the V&A Placement Agency team dedicated 67 minutes to supporting a homeless community in Pretoria CBD. Serving warm soup, fresh bread, and fruit, we transformed a play park into a mobile soup kitchen, bringing nourishment, comfort, and smiles to over 60 people.
After the meal, our team cleaned the park, creating a more dignified living space. This act of service reflected Mandela’s legacy, proving how small gestures can inspire hope, unity, and lasting impact.

Annual Nurses Conference
Held on 25 & 26 July 2024 at the CSIR International Conference Centre, the Lighting the Future Annual Nurses Conference honored the dedication of nurses who are the true light of healthcare. This prestigious event recognized their unwavering service and vital role in strengthening healthcare systems.
